Here's the view from my hotel room in the Radisson of Ciudad Empresarial. This is a newly developed area on the outskirts of Santiago.
This is the office of my customer. They're a nice easy walk from the hotel.
Santiago has been steadily improving over the past few years. There are some quite modern design buildings in the downtown areas.
And what modern city would be complete without a Starbucks. :)
I was there for a week plus a weekend, so I joined a hiking tour run by Cumbre Andina. We drove 2 hrs from the city to Cajon del Maipo.

Other groups here were camping. Some arrived on horseback.
This lake was our destination. The glacier on the right had a few small avalanches while we were there. This reminds me of the lake & glacier I saw in Alaska.
Believe it or not, these boots were dark brown when I started!
